Vasudevar and Devaki (the sibling of merciless king Kansa) are Krishna's parents. Even before Lord Krishna took birth, Narada foreboded that 8th son of Devaki will put an end to Kansa's rule by killing him. Krishna becomes friendly with all the cowherds residing in Vrindavan and spends his childhood like other people, under Yashoda.
